On Sept. 22, 2006 Stump the host passed on approval to the live music archive:
"Dear LMA:
On behalf of Steve Dawson, I would like to request activation of 2 new sections:
1) Steve Dawson (we'd like to use 'sdawson' as the file abbreviation, if possible)
2) Stump the Host (we'd like to use 'sth' as the file abbreviation, if possible)
Steve leads a band called Dolly Varden which has been a part of the Live Music Archive for the past few years. Since he now also performs as a solo act as well, we'd like to get those live shows shared as well. Stump the Host was a Chicago-based band that Steve was in prior to forming Dolly Varden, we recently unearthed some excellent shows from the band's personal archives that we'd also like to share.
As with Dolly Varden we'd like to keep things open -- anyone can upload and file derivations (mp3, etc) are ok.
